Today is the big day! Scott and I will finally have a refrigerator and a range in the new house!! I have never been so excited over appliances before in my life...
In preparation for this momentous occasion, we cleaned the house. And when I say cleaned, I mean cleaned. There was much sweeping, vacuuming, moving of furniture, dusting, wiping down, organizing, and putting away, and we worked our tooshies off late into the night (about 2:00AM). So now when the movers come in with our new kitcheny items, they will be in awe of the tidiness and aesthtic appeal... just so long as they don't go into the back room where all of the boxes, tools, and other miscellaneous items have been haphazardly piled.
So tonight after work I'm going to go shopping for things like milk, frozen meats, maybe even some ice cream, and all sorts of other wonderful cold food items, and I will take it home, confident that I will have a safe place for them to stay cool. And later, when I'm ready to make a delicious hot meal, I will have my range with which to cook, and it will be bliss.
