Too Busy

I have been too busy lately, and therefore I have ignored my blog. Much has happened, and much has NOT happened. The bathroom is painted, almost all of my belongings are moved (just the big stuff left to go), and things are settling a little bit. However, there is no floor, no refrigerator, no stove. There are many things to fix, paint, install, etc... Things are very incomplete and moving slowly, but at least it's moving, right?

Scott and I are just waiting for a spare moment to come along, so we can get things straightened out. Last weekend we went home for my birthday, and we went to King's Dominion and my church's Memorial Day picnic, plus we got our engagement photos taken (more on that later), and so nothing was accomplished at the house here in Lynchburg, other than Ramona attempting to eat a trash bag to get to the empty food can that was in there. It wasn't like we left without having someone come over to feed and care for her (thanks Vicki!). That cat can be such a rascal sometimes.

This coming up weekend we are going to Ohio, for Scott's little brother's graduation. We're also going to pick up our wedding rings, which I can't wait to be able to wear! It is taking forever for October to come...

We'll also be going to Cedar Point, which is always fun, and I know Scott is really looking forward to it. I'm a little nervous because I think that I'm allergic to something in sunscreen, since every time I put it on I get a weird rash and I'm all itchy for a week or so... it's absolutely miserable. Of course, I can't go out in the sun without something, or else I burn terribly. We're hoping sun lotion for babies will be more gentle and will work better.

As for the house, we're hoping to get the last of my stuff moved tonight, and I want to finish cleaning as well. Then I can finally walk away from that townhouse, and it will just be a waiting game to have someone come and take the lease.

Ooh, and I said I would talk about the engagement photos. It was a beautiful day at Quiet Waters Park, and April got around 240 pictures taken! That means we have lots and lots to choose from, which is very exciting!! Go here and you can view some of the pictures that she has put up as a small sneak peak.
