This is the mailbox that we are very proud of. It used to have a blue metal pole, and dented, rusty silver mailbox. Now it's a pretty green metal pole, and a shiny new black mailbox.
One of my favorite things about our new house is that it is nice and wooded all around. Below is the view of our new house from the street. I absolutely love the flowering trees out front! They look nice, and smell wonderful!
The next picture is a slightly less wooded view of the front of the house, and was taken from our driveway.
Our house also comes with a fancy shed, as seen below in the next two pictures, that Scott is really excited about. It has lots of space for tools and home improvement projects, and even has electricity!
And now for my favorite part!! The backyard...
*Sigh* It's so peaceful and lovely! And the two picnic tables are ours... a gift from the previous owners, haha.
Our backyard also comes with a lovely creek, which we don't yet have a picture of, and a huge park. That means there are no neighbors to the back of us, just wide open space! You can almost make out the field through the trees...
My other favorite part is our back deck. This is where many cookouts and gatherings will take place,and Scott and I both can't wait for those!
So this is the exterior of our new home. Next time I'll post on the inside, and hopefully we'll have some before and after pics to show off as well!
