Long Exposure

Earlier in April, Scott and I went to Washington, D.C. with his mom and sister's girl scout troop. We walked all over D.C. for three days, and saw many things. Some old and familiar, others new and interesting.

The second night that we were there, we went to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, and I took a picture of Scott. He didn't stay in the shot for very long, and this is what happened:

I think I must have had the camera set to a long exposure. It was still in the process of taking the picture, even after Scott had come around behind me to see how it turned out. It was pretty interesting to see the ghostly silhouette of Scott appear on the camera's screen. I must say, I do like it though, and it has become one of my favorite pictures from the trip.
