Calcium for the bones and teeth

So the weekend went not quite as planned. I was hoping to get a lot accomplished in the house, but that just didn't happen since it was so nice outside, and that is where Scott was working (and I love hanging out with my husband on the weekend). I did get some clothes washed and folded; however, many of them are still piled on the floor in front of the TV down in the basement... oh well, at least they're folded, right?

In baby news not much has been going on. Little Critter is still in there, and my stomach is growing slowly (and I mean slooowly), but it's growing... I think. I'm trying my best to eat lots of food, but with the indigestion and heartburn that I get, it makes it hard to want to eat a lot all of the time. I do a much better over the weekend, when I'm moving around and not stuck sitting at a desk, but when I'm at work all it takes is one little cracker and my throat is on fire.

I've also had to break down and finally get some calcium tablets... I thought it would be easy to eat 3-4 servings of calcium a day. I figured a glass of milk, a string cheese, and a yogurt or two would be easy to consume every day, but it's not. So now I have a new yummy little pill to swallow at night along with my prenatal vitamin. Hopefully this will keep Critter from sucking all of the calcium out of my bones and teeth, so I won't fall apart in ten years, haha.

Lastly, the past few days have been consumed with my little sister's car, which has been giving her some trouble. After spending Friday night in the parking lot changing spark plugs, we brought it home for a compression test, which turned out fine, and has now left us wondering what the hey-day is wrong with it. We also realized that one of her front tires was wearing funny, and would need to be replaced, which of course means she needs to replace the other front tire as well. So Scott and I have been scouring the Internet and Lynchburg in search of the best deal on some reliable tires. It's a lot harder than one would think. We found what we thought were some great prices, until they added in all of the other service charges, etc... Then it wasn't quite as amazing. We have some ideas as to what we're going to go with, but we're going to do just a little more research first...

Alright, this is enough for tonight. I am so very tired. We were out kind of late last night visiting with some friends, who just had a little baby of their own. We made them stuffed shells for dinner and hung out for a few hours. It was fun talking about baby stuff, and family stuff, and all around life stuff. But when I got home, the exhaustion hit, and I was out like a light as soon as I laid down, which is what I should be doing right now, so goodnight!
