Visiting Aunt Lisa

EThis morning my mom took over watching the littles so Scott and I could sleep in. It was a wonderful blessing!

And when it was time to wake up, we were roused from sleep by cold toes as Masen climbed in bed with us, tears streaming down his face because Grandma fed the dogs without him, and he wanted to be the one to give them their food.

I snuggled him in close, and let him watch Netflix on my phone. He was being ever so sweet, and I loved how he just wanted to be close.

We headed out to lunch at Panera and then went to visit my sister, Lisa. She had chocolate chip cookies waiting for us, and we got to meet her new kitten, Prim. Masen had a wonderful time playing and telling stories. His favorite being about different people playing or being in trash... I have no idea where that line comes from, haha.

Later we went out with my parents for dinner, and Masen was quite ready to order chocolate milk at the dinner table. He is never shy about that! Levi was well behaved in his high chair and tasted cucumbers, green peppers, carrots, and tomato from the salad bar.

After dinner we drive out to the Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point beach. Masen was in love! He was so excited seeing all of the different lights displays, and it was so joyful in the car as he pointed out everything that he recognized :)

On the ride home he whispered to me that he was tired, and asked me to snuggle him (I was sitting in the back next to his carseat). He fell asleep as I sang him some of his favorite bedtime songs. My little boy sure does know how to make me melt!
