Love that little face! He makes me smile pretty much all day, every day.
He is my curious, funny, sweet little baby boy. He loves his cars and trains, and still loves to make vroom sounds when he plays with them (he actually makes vroom sounds whenever he sees anything with wheels).
He is all about his walker, even though he hasn't needed it to walk for quite some time, and he gets so frustrated when the wheels get stuck and he can't get it free.
His favorite movie to watch by far is "Annie", although he is also quite content with "Horton Hears a Who", "Despicable Me", or "Rio"... yes we let him watch TV, but in moderation.
He loves bananas and popcorn (not necessarily always together), and pretty much anything else he eats needs to be eaten with a fork... at least that's how it's been since Sunday. A skewer will also do in a pinch, as we learned at Hibachi Grill on Valentine's Day.
We are currently trying to get him attached to a lovey... it's a monkey we bought specifically for the task, and his name is Joey. Masen loves to give him hugs and kisses, but has yet to use the little fella for falling asleep or soothing. Although it does seem to make for a good teether!
Masen is in love with the outdoors, and would probably stay out there all day if we let him. I am so glad he is walking now, so I don't have to worry about him getting all muddy (since our yard is a dirt pile), and scraping up his jeans and shoes.
He is still a picky little eater... chicken nuggets and pizza are usually a good choice. We are working on expanding his likes, but so far we've only made it to string cheese and french fries. Of course he likes all the yummy things in life, like cookies and chips and chocolate, but again, all in moderation!
He is starting to talk more. He can say "wawa" for water, and "nan" for banana. He says "at" and "mon" for Ramona the cat (who often gets called Mona). He can also say "no" (what baby can't, haha), but loves to nod his head yes! Usually it's because we are asking him if he is a good baby, and we are nodding our own heads.
He is just such a little spitfire, and I wish I could write more, but I hear Scott trying to get him back to sleep, and I know he is probably needing my help, so I will end here!
