Wow, two posts in a row! I'm on a roll now!
Being pregnant is tough. I feel perfectly fine, everything is great, but I wish there was more I could do. For instance, right now I am trying to clean the bedroom, and I want to vacuum under the bed, but I'm having difficulty shimmying my way under the bed like I normally would. This baby bump of mine is getting in the way, and I'm afraid to push it too far for fear of hurting the baby. Normally it wouldn't bother me to go the extra little bit of discomfort, but I don't know what is safe, and not.
Thankfully this is my biggest complaint. I can't bend as easily, and I can't fit into the tight spaces as easily as I could before. And now when I need to do something that may be a little more dangerous (such as standing on a chair, or jumping down from something) I get more nervous, and become more cautious. It makes life hard sometimes...
But good news! I'm almost to the halfway point. I am so close to 20 weeks! Soon this whole pregnancy thing will be flying by, and I will have a cute little baby boy in my arms, and I can't wait!
Scott is really excited too. I think this is pretty much the most amazing thing that we've ever done. At least for me this tops all of my other life experiences. I met the most wonderful man, we fell in love, got married, and now we're starting a family. Could it get much better?
Well, I guess I should return to cleaning. Hopefully Scott will be back soon, so he can help me with putting down a new area rug in our room (not really new, but new from the living room to our bedroom, haha). I have almost everything ready, but again, this baby inside keeps me from being so brazen as to try and lift the bed on my own, and shimmy the old rug out, and it keeps me from dragging the much larger rug in, and trying to maneuver it under the bed. Silly pregnant woman limitations!
